Caterpillar Dance School

Started in November 2007 as a 1-hour tiny tots disco and ballet class for 3-5 year olds on a Saturday morning. Starting with just 8 children it has grown to around 120 children aged between 3 and 11 years of age. The classes on a Saturday grew quickly to include ISTD Modern Jazz, Ballet and Tap for children over the age of 5.

In September 2009, the timetable expanded to include a second tiny tots class in the week and disco freestyle and theatre performance for the 6-11 age group. In September 2010, Street cheer, parent and child classes and theatre performance for the under 5s ,was added to the timetable, offering a wide range of dance classes for all ages.

“My aim is to provide a balance between structured syllabus classes and performance based classes, in order to maintain fun and enjoyment for all”.
